1 | does God know all things? Genesis 22:12 | James 2:21 | imuvhim | 80311
Thank you for giving more explaining. Here my point. There is only one faith, not two. Like one faith that God judge me by--faith alone. Then another faith that man sees that is works. No, this not right. There is only one faith. God seeing the obedient faith that it shows Him they trust Him. God makes forgiven because of this one faith. There is no need to make two faiths. See what I'm say? |

2 | does God know all things? Genesis 22:12 | James 2:21 | Ray | 80316
Hi imuvhim, I think I see what you are saying. The last part of the MacArthur quote should help us. He spoke of the faith that saved and the faithfulness that was demonstrated afterward. Perhaps the second faith that you speak of is MacArthur's "faithfulness". Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace you have been saved by faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of (God); not as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are *His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,..." Genesis 18:19, "For (I) have chosen him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the *Lord by doing righteousness and justice; in order that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him." I hope that I have been of help and have understood you. From the heart, Ray |
