1 | Authority of the bible in question? | 2 Tim 3:16 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 94429
I hate getting into lengthy discussions on whos right and wrong as far as whos church is right the only thought is,The Pope of Rome and Billy Graham both haft to enter into the kingdom of heavan the same way, the only athority Christians should listen to is the Holy Ghost, He is the one who leads us and guides us into all truth. If its not in the Bible I question it as to its athority, weather the Pope or Billy Graham said it.Cant we leave it to God, Ive read these post for a while now and found one reason the church is failling, sometimes we argue over pointless things,I love all Cathlics, Prodicents, Babtist,Penticause, or whatever, man made doctrins and caused his own split. This is how I see it.DL5

DAIRYLEADER5: You write: "the only authority Christians should listen to is the Holy Ghost." I strongly disagree. 'The only voice of God we are ever commanded to hear, to know, and to obey . . . is the written, fully inspired, fully accurate Word of God: the Bible' (www.str.org/free/commentaries/theology/doesgodt.htm). --Radioman2 |
