1 | Which saints will be left behind? | 1 Thess 4:17 | M.Royal | 188766
Hi CDBJ, Although John may not have known who the great multitude were, however the elder that spoke to him did, and told him clearly saying; "These are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb." Rev.7:14. Remember that all that belong to God through Christ (saved) are the Church or of his body. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

2 | Which saints will be left behind? | 1 Thess 4:17 | CDBJ | 188813
Hello M.Royal, Am I hearing you right, are you suggesting that the Old Testament saints won’t be with Christ since they aren’t designated as being in the church age? All I was trying to point out was that all those that had on white robs and holding palms in their hands were given those bodies when they were delivered from the period called the tribulation; and that being the precise timing of what is known as the rapture, nothing more nothing less. Rev. 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. There are some that would have us believe that it is only a specific group of only those who live in the era. The Bible doesn’t suggest that but it clearly states “when they were removed”. The passage, the way I see it, is in reference to all believers that have trusted in the Messiah and it points to the timing of their change of station. 1 Thes. 4:15-18 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words. I believe this study is getting off of the intended path for whatever reason I’m not sure? CDBJ |
