Hank-- Sin, is a disease of the soul. Like leprosy or cancer SIN slowly eats away until it kills. Like these diseases, some people succumb in a few short years. Others individuals it takes decades. Sin even after a lifetime may not be "That Bad' or "Criminal" but all have come short of the Glory of God. Again, like Cancer, It cares not how good you've been, what you've done or who you are or even how religious you've been. Sin without a cure will destroy your soul. Yes, there is great hope as indicated in Rom. 6:23- "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". God has the cure for disease. He sent his son Jesus Christ. Through trusting in the word of God and having faith that Jesus is Son of God, we begin to repair the Damage sin has done to our lives. Rom 5:17-19 (KJV) 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. YES, there is a cure for the disease! God did provide the medicine. God bless |
