Hi kcb, Enter in a quick search "ray washburn" and you will find discussions of Del Washburn"s book "Theomatics". You can read of the pro's and con's of the book; it is not for everyone. It would be of interest to you, however. Del Washburn in chapter 4 of his book, talks of the 152 fishes in the net. In his particular study he has found a connection and a relationship between Luke 9:13, John 21:11, Mt 4:18, Mt 4:18, John 21:6, Luke 5:6, Mk 8:34, Mark 1:17, and Mark 1:8. These verses talk of the Fishes, The net, Casting a net into the sea, Multitude of fishes, and Fishers of men. He also connects the number 153 of the fishes, and the addition of the Greek letters, with John 14:6 and the fact that Jesus is as I would print it, "the Way, and the Truth, and the Life"; And His being the "door of the sheep" and "the narrow gate". I still have found no reason not to recommend his book. From the heart, Ray |
