I based my belief that God can create whatever He wants (Isa 44:24; 45:7 KJV; 66:1,2) because He has created everything. Now, if I was wrong, I believed that God allowed it to EITHER be created OR to exist. Author Myer Pearlman in his book: Knowing The Doctrines of the Bible, p67, says: “God being almighty, evil exists by his permission. We cannot, in every instance, understand why He permits evil, for ‘His ways are past finding out.’” I believe the author is referring to the mysteries or secret things of God (Deu 29:29). He continues with “Scriptures do not describe the origin of demons; that question seems to be part of the mystery surrounding the origin of evil.” (Pearlmen, p. 91) |
