Thank you Psalm 25 for the website, my question was completely answered...I might add exactly as my Jewish believer guide had explained to us when we were in Isreal last year. Jesus declared the "only sign"to prove He was the Messiah would be 3 days and 3 nights in the earth. And Jesus Himself knew what a day and was "are there not 12 hours in a day...." As a fairly new believer..I have been taught that scripture interprets scripture...If you have a problem with a verse or word in the word research the bible for your answer ...do not use any outside sources(such as a Jewish encycopedia) that is why I have a problem with the enterpretion of "day" ...a real easy one to look up...Gen 1:3 has Gods complete interpretion...I believe the Frid-Sunday is merely a tradition, which Christ does warn "the word of God of none effect through you traditions" | ||||||

chach, You are very welcome. I might encourage you to listen very carefully to your Jewish sources that are, of course, Messianic Jewish believers. I have found that they have an insight into much of what the gentiles continue to distort. The Jewish people are far more conservative and take great pains to be accurate and authinic. God Bless as you continue to grow; And, whatever you do don't be narrow minded but search out all things and above all "ask the Holy Spirit to guide you." In His Name, Psalm 25 |
