1 | Are Modern Prophets Always Accurate ? | Job | Jensen | 32818
Hello again dear prophet ezra brown… You Wrote... "...also 1corithians13:8 Charity never faileth:but wether there be prophecies, they shall fail" ......which you have taken to mean a reference to prophecy....but it is not....it is a comparison of the gift of love (or Christian Charity) to all the other gifts including prophecy. Context. And you wrote... "I could prophesy to someone the blessings of God and put a date on it but if they do not believe they will not receive".... Do you really think that God would depend on us to have what He said come true. That our actions will somehow either nullify or bring about what He says (through the Prophet)? You can put a date on it? I thought that God spoke through the Prophet. I thought that God would indicate a time frame. He can say "If my people will.......then I will....." He said it but He already knows what will happen, we are the ones who do not know what will happen. .....Goodness Gracious Man! Do you lay GUILT on the believer for the false prophecy from your own mouth. If the prophecy proves to be untrue then you are still in good stead as a prophet, it’s just those pesky weak believers that are the problem. Are you also a member of the "name it and claim it faith movement"? Study the context of the passages. That means understanding what has just transpired, or is being discussed, before the passage in question. Surely, one shared quality among the prophets is Biblical context. Sometimes some of us need to work a little harder on what is already before us. I have my own challenges...you have yours :-) God Bless....Jensen |

3 | Are Modern Prophets Always Accurate ? | Job | Jensen | 32825
Dear prophet ezra brown...Let me ask you one question for which I will expect a DIRECT answer. When you prophecy do you include the words..."The Lord says", or "The Lord wants you to know...", or, "Thus sayeth the Lord" or any similar type of a way to begin your prophecy? Just curious. :-) A direct answer is a simple yes or no. (You can answer sometimes so that I may know you will not answer directly to what we both know to be the truth of my question.) Then, if you reply I promise to muster all the civility I have to inquire further. I really only want to battle the Enemy, not you dear brother in Christ. Really!! God Bless....Jensen |

5 | Is this a false prophet? | Job | Jensen | 33023
Dear prophet ezra brown….. So prophesying is not necessarily inspired by God. I did not know that. And that is very reassuring since I have heard and read some pretty stupid prophecy. And when the prophet announces “Thus sayeth the Lord…” he/she is always speaking with divine inspiration. And then you would agree that the prophet who claims divine inspiration and is proven wrong, by circumstance, or condition, or the Bible itself, is a false prophet and should not be feared (known) any further. Am I correct? God Bless….Jensen |

6 | Is this a false prophet? | Job | Jesusman | 33029
Hello Jensen, Remember the words of John the Beloved in 1 John 4:1-3 (1 John 4:1) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:2) By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; (1 John 4:3) and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. A true prophet who speaks in the name of the Lord will speak that which coincides with God's holy word dictated in the Bible. A prophet who does not speak such things is not sent by God. Jesus Loves You! Jesusman |
