1 | How old is the earth scripturally? | Gen 1:1 | Daninjapan | 19471
Hi Tim, May the Lord bless you today and everyday! In response to your question and comment. (1) Your question about Adam is a good one, although I am not sure why it would be "a key point". I actually don't know what Dr. Ross says on this issue. I suggest that you ask him. His web page at http://www.reasons.org/ includes a place for asking questions. (2) Yes, as you said, in Jewish culture the days were (and are) counted from evening to evening. This is particularly interesting because it indicates that they did not use Genesis one (evening to morning) as their model for counting days. May the Lord lead us into all truth. In Jesus' love, DaninJapan |

2 | How old is the earth scripturally? | Gen 1:1 | Morant61 | 19478
Greetings DaninJapan! Thanks for the prayer! 1) I'll check the site out! The reason why Adam is a key point is because the entire theology of sin is based upon the headship of Adam in the human race! 2) I took this in the opposite way! The evening and the morning would be the time span between evening and evening. So, it is the same as in Gen. 1. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
