Bible Note: Hello Aaron, and welcome to the forum. It is a Bible study and to be “consistent” one should back up what they have found using other Scripture. It’s the totality of “God’s Word” that conveys truth. Psalm 119:160 (ASV) The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever. There is an old saying that you have probably heard; “Some take text out of context for a pretext” That isn’t always the case but I assume you can see how that could happen? People come up with some ideas that are really off the wall, if you get my drift? Sometimes it’s better to ask something in the form of a question rather then make an assertion. Many of the folks on the forum know the Bible pretty well and they aren’t really trying to prod you as it were. Don’t be discouraged, your statement was just a bit of a shocker, CDBJ |
