Bible Question:  I have a few questions about the book of Ruth. I may need to read a different version of the bible interpretation but I don't really find it to be a love story. To me it paints a picture of how God's thinks ahead of us all the time. Naomi couldn't understand why God would take her husband and sons away from her and leave her with two other widows just like herself. But God had a bigger and better plan for the future with Ruth. Is it possible God puts many us of here to serve a purpose for other's like our lives don't always count towards our own blessings and do we only get blessed if we do the right thing even if we don't know what the right thing is? I know in the end result Naomi did get a son again but if she wouldn't have allowed Ruth to come with her she would have been wallowing in bitterness. My other question is How do you know that you are on the right path? I know Naomi wanted Ruth to go back to her family but Ruth insisted on staying with Naomi. Naomi thought she was doing the right thing by telling those ladies to go back home. How do you know you're doing the right thing?

Bible Answer:  Myah, the anwser is the same I gave you before.

The first hurdle is ... is it Biblical? If it is, then it takes prayer and counsel of others. Yes, Naomi didn't have anyone to ask, so I think she was moved by God to let Ruth come with her.
