Bible Question: How does Pauls three journeys correlate with his epistles? |
Bible Answer: You have asked a question that is too large for this venue. The three Missionary Journey's of Paul are found in Acts The first Journey is Acts found in Chapter 13 and 14. The second journey is found in 15:36 to 18:22 and the third journey is in 18:23 to 20:38. If you hear about a fourth journey, it is Paul's trip to Rome. Most of what you ask is in this text of Scripture. Ie. Ephesis is Ephesians. Philippi is to the Philippians. But Galatia is a provence like a state. It included cities in the Biblical text including Antioch, Iconium and Lycnonia. I would like to suggest you garner a copy of THE LIVE AND EPISTLES OF ST. PAUL by Conybeare and Howson for the classic on the topic. |
