Bible Answer: Why does Paul have of two main sections in many of his letters? Because to Paul the whole purpose of God in salvation was to restore man and make him holy. You shall be holy for I am holy. Thus Paul described that salvation, encouraged response to it and then gave guidance in the way of holiness. To him it was inconceivable that a man could be saved and yet not seek holiness. |
