Bible Question: Why did God change characters names in the Bible such as Abram to Abrham and Sari to Sarah? |
Bible Answer: Unlike today, names meant something in Biblical time. Abram means exalted father, where Abraham means father of multitude. When it comes to Sarai and Sarah, I can't answer, because to my understanding they both mean the same thing. Someone more knowledgeable on forum might be able to answer. Brad |
