Bible Answer: Dear pabvision, Welcome to the forum! I'm uncertain what you mean by "represent." Jonah is a historic narrative of God's dealing with the people of Nineveh. In a word, the book is about salvation. It teaches that God is sovereign over all creation, and the righteous and rightful judge. Any part of Scripture only means what it means when it was authored.
