Subject: WHAT IS THE "BREAD" THAT IS REFERENCE IN |
Bible Note: OOOOOOOOPPPS! I've only just joined, I'm still getting used to the website!!! Now I've seen the whole thread, I agree with DocTrinsograce; it can surely refer to both! "Your will be done on Earth..." is very clear, pragmatic and concerning our everyday life, as impacted by the supernatural (..as it is in Heaven). Jesus quoted Isaiah "Man shall not live on bread A L O N E"; confirming that we need physical bread, "..but by every word.." - our spiritual food. I've heard that Matt.6:11 means "every legitimate thing we could need for our whole well-being". Nourished by the Fellowship and Word of God, yes; but in Western society, a car is now pretty much essential! (I'm not saying that's good or bad, it just IS). So if we have no car, it's legitimate to ask (Abba) Daddy for a car. He caused us to be born into this generation and society. I'll leave it there - I'm starting to ramble!! |
