Bible Question:
Could anyone tell me what is a good Bible Translation to use when studying the Word? I can't seem to grasp the KJV at times. Any recommendations? Thanks, SIRHIGHSMITH |
Bible Answer: Shalom sirhighsmith, There is another bible out there that I've not seen talked about on this forum so far. If you particularily like the feel of the KJV language but have a bit of trouble with it (like me, lol) there is a bible called KJVER King James Version Easy Reading. It basically only changes the thees ,thous, seests, knoweths, etc and the really archaic words. ALL the words attributed to God and/or Jesus are in red from Gen. thru Rev. (and to me, that's a big help, especially in the prophets!!). Just go to Christian Discount Bookstore and type in The Sword or Whitaker House Publishers and you'll find it, it costs about 30 dollars. Also, the New King James is good, and so is the NASB. Cheri |
