Bible Question:
Hi, my thought/question is, if we're saposed to take the bible literally, then how do we read it, if the words are writen how they're writen? Thanks |
Bible Answer: Greetings NightJay0044, Are you experiencing some difficulties with reading certain parts of the Bible, if you take to a straightforward literal reading approach? If you are, please let us know which areas that you are experiencing problems so that we can better define the "how do we read it." Most of the Bible with the exceptions of the poetic language found in Psalms and the apocalyptic literature of Daniel and Revelation can be easily read and understood in a straightforward, literal way. I believe that the Bible was written as the message from God to man, and God wants us to understand His message to us. Blessings to you, Makarios |
