Subject: U.S.A. the Babylon of Revelations 18? |
Bible Note: Greetings, You made a statement, which is a little confusing to me at best, you stated, “I am not under the law, I am not saved by the law. I am saved by grace and through faith.” This grace that you speak of, do you keep the Sabbath to deserve it, and the faith you mention what is the object of this faith. I crossed a creek one time, when I was younger, in the chilling dead of winter. It was about ½ a mile around the long “dry” way but I spotted a tree that looked like the perfect answer to my long chilling walk in 6” deep cold snow. I decided to put my all my “hope” and faith in a small tree that had fallen across the creek, seeing it provided me a way of getting over the icy water without getting wet. To make a long story short, I ended up in the icy, bone chilling, water because the dumb tree broke when I was about half way across; I was close to freezing before I got home that day. My faith was sound, or I wouldn’t have stepped out on the tree in the first place; the problem wasn’t with my faith but the “object” of my faith was faulty. My Question is: Is the object of your “faith” keeping the Sabbath, or is keeping the Sabbath your means of acquiring grace? Curious, CDBJ |
