Bible Question:
How will you baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost while doing this deed in the name of Jesus? Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Show me one person in the Bible that was baptized as the Trinity doctrine should have us to be baptized. Will I be barred from posting here because I do not believe in the Trinity doctrine? Praise the Lord! Norm |
Bible Answer: Thank God There is someone else here that does not believe in the trinity doctrine. Matthew 28:19 says baptize in the NAME (SINGULAR) of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost. Ok Jesus Said in John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. Then he said the holy ghost was sent in Jesus' name too. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. And like I have said before I am a daughter, I am a sister, and I am a girl but I have a name. I am a body, soul, and spirit, but when I sign my checks I don't put body, soul, and spirit. They wouldn't cash it. The same with Jesus. He is the father Isaiah 9:6 said his name would be the EVERLASTING FATHER. he is the son. and he is the Holy Ghost. He is God. Manifested in the flesh. In Jeremiah I believe it says that God bared his arm. If Peter was wrong on the day of Pentecost when he said repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS. Dont you think Matthew (that wrote Matt 28:19) would have stopped him and said no that's wrong? But he didn't. He was there. In fact acts 2 says Peter STANDING UP WITH THE ELEVEN. Show me anyone who was baptized in any other name |
