Bible Question:
How will you baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost while doing this deed in the name of Jesus? Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Show me one person in the Bible that was baptized as the Trinity doctrine should have us to be baptized. Will I be barred from posting here because I do not believe in the Trinity doctrine? Praise the Lord! Norm |
Bible Answer: Hi Norm, I have a question for you. By whose authority did Jesus do the things that He did? I am thinking about John 12:49,50 and others. John 12:49,50, "For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me commandment, what to say, and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me." Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." [Just as the Father has told Me]. From the heart, Ray |
