Bible Question (short): How do we know when we are hearing God? |
Question (full): How do we know when we are hearing from God versus when are hearing what we want to hear? From time to time disagreements arise between church members. People from both sides of the disagreement believe that they have prayed about the situation, but when they say what God revealed to them, "God's response" is different. I know that John chap. 10 talks about Christ's sheep who hear his voice, but in some disagreements, people from both sides are Godly people. How can I discern biblicly whose side of the disagreement to believe? |
