Personal profile for user screen name: RoS I believe that the Lord, Jesus Christ gave the church an incredible tool in the internet, I suspect because He saw coming a church that, in its desire to "win the lost" would fail in its first mission: to feed its own sheep. And now we're starving to death for good teaching. I praise the Lord for web sites like this where we can become self-taught in advance of His coming revival.I've been an internet missionary/evangelist since 1998 when the Lord woke me up in my walk of twenty years and showed me that it was time to get to work. I realized the power of well-chosen words in this medium, honed my writing skills, joined the Christian writer's guild in my area and have watched God go out before me ever since. A prayer-powered home study group showed three of us that His next work in the USA is the Roman Catholic mission field. (We are all former Catholics who heard about Chuck Colson's Evangelicals and Catholics Together Accord within days of each other in 2000.) And NO REVIVAL will come with this confusion in place. I wrote Fully Recovered Catholic the first six months of 2001 as the priestly sex scandal hit the papers, and realized we were on the right track. The publishers won't hear this yet, not willing to "offend" the hurting Catholics with the Gospel; but my vision is for four books. Each one is centered around Norman Rockwell's FOUR FREEDOMS and I plan to start number two, Freedom of Speech, in 2004. When Pope John Paul II officially names the Virgin Mary Co-Redeemer next year (as I strongly suspect he will, probably right on his death bed), I expect the publishers whom I approached these last 18 months will beg for my manuscript then. Whereas God is leading this charge, I fully expect the series to sell into the millions because I have finally released it to Him -- to see what He can do with it :) Thanks for being here, faithful forum members. I love you, church! Sharon Sullivan Author, Fully Recovered Catholic exsulent@bbmail.net Favorite verse right now: "Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed." (Luke 11:14) (The above information has been submitted by the author for use solely by the StudyBibleForum.com) |
