Bible Question: I am a Christian and so is my husband. My husband is confused. His parents are telling him not even to enter our home with our children that he should go through with a divorce. I feel like I should be able to find some passage that says to his parents that they should forgive me and encourage their son to try to make the marriage work. I know it takes work, I have let him know that. But I am up against a brick wall, his parents hate me and have my husband brain washed that I will only cause him heartache. He won't even have dinner with us. I feel he should give me a chance to prove myself and his parents should support this. They go to church every Sunday, but they don't seem to have the Christian spirit. |
Bible Answer: Hi, Waldoette... This forum is not intended for counseling. Renewing any relationship -- or doing anything of lasting value -- always has roots in Christ. The best advice any of us can give is for you to look to the Lord Jesus Christ. If your relationship is right with Him, then He will guide you into all other things. This would also apply to your husband. However, you are responsibile for your relation with the Lord, not your husbands. We will pray for you. In Him, Doc |
