Bible Question: so anybody who is homosexual should not bother to read the bible or try to know God because they are going to hell anyway so why bother. I know this can be a deep subject with alot of opinions i just wondered. |
Bible Answer: Hi, Mikec! It is not just homosexuals who are going to hell: He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. (Revelation 21:5-8, 27) Decidedly, these people in the above passages will not enter the Kingdom of God! But it is not for lack of Bibles or Evangelization or Bible Study… they have made their choice with their “lifestyles”: The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done. (Revelation 16:8-11) If we choose to be rebellious to God’s Word and obstinately choose death instead of life (Deuteronomy 30:19-20), we reap that which we sow (Romans 6:23). Jesus never condemned any sinner that came before Him, but He did exact a wage: “go and sin no more!” (John 8:1-11). God Bless! Angel |
