Bible Question:
In Luke 15:11-32 who are the two sons? I'm convinced that the story illustrates a sinner coming to repentance. I want to be sure that I haven't overlooked any possibilities. Is it possible the two sons represent the Jews and the Gentiles? Any other possibilities that I am overlooking? Thanks and Regards, Huron |
Bible Answer: Huron, One of the best pieces of advice I ever recieved on the prodigal son was to meditate on it from all points of view, the prodigal son, the elder brother and the father. It is possible that at different times in your life you may find yourself acting like any one of them, the repentant, the resentful and unforgiving and the forgiving. Emmaus |
