Subject: How can we be sure in God's Will ? |
Bible Note: Emmaus, Thank you for your reply to my question, which is a difficult one. I believe one has to totally surrender one's life to God as a first step. Paul tells us so in Romans 12:- Rom 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Rom 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." One has to completely surrender one's life to God, coming to Him in prayer, asking Him for His guidance and wisdom. Men like George Muller were in the Will of God and they really worked at getting to know God and His Word to be in His Will. Maybe we want things too easily, speaking for myself anyway. There are a number of books on the subject, so thanks for the ones you suggest. In Christ, Ken. |
