AMPLIFIED 2015 | Judges 6:37 behold, I will put a fleece of [freshly sheared] wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece, and it is dry on all the ground [around it], then I will know that You will rescue Israel through me, as You have said." |
Bible Question:
I hear some folks say "if it is a word from the Lord, it will be confirmed by another person" am I overlooking something? |
Bible Answer: 'I hear some folks say "if it is a word from the Lord, it will be confirmed by another person..."' okjoek: Whenever you hear someone say this or that is a Biblical principle or that it is true, always ask them: "Where in the Bible does it say that? In what book, chapter and verse does the Bible say what you said it does?" When folks say "if it is a word from the Lord, it will be confirmed by another person", they are making an assertion. When another person makes an assertion, we do not necessarily have to prove or disprove anything. The burden of proof is on the person who makes the assertion. Peace to you, kalos |
