Bible Question: I've just started my bible study and I was reading Leviticus chapter 11 where God spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a list of foods that were considered clean to eat and unclean; those we should not eat. Should we still eat that way today? If so, what about Mark 7:15 where is states that "There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. Are they speaking of food in Mark 7 or something else? |
Bible Answer: Hello Laney Adding to Benjamite's response, read just a little further (especially verse 19): Mark 7:18-19 (ESV) And he said to them, "Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, [19] since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.) All means all. Steve |
