Bible Question: If Jesus is our father, then who is our Mother? |
Bible Answer: The Sadducees seem to have had the same trouble with trying to understand a situation similar to your question. There is no need for a mother, the angels didn't have a mother because they are created beings the same as born again believers are at the point of trusting in Christ. 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. A mother is only needed for the production of physical life not spiritual life. Matthew 22:29-30 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. God didn't need the mothers to make angles the same way he doesn't need mothers for a new creature in Christ. There will be no procreation in heaven. Ephes. 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Sorry no mother status in heaven with due respect to all you wonderful moms out there! CDBJ |
