Bible Question: PiRaTe: This IS a very complex question, and I cannot offer an answer(nor will I attempt to at this time, for it would be foolish without proper knowledge), but I have one other question: If two people are in agreement to be in relations with other people while still married, while it may not technically break the agreement that they may have set with each other, doesn't it break the covenant that they set with God and His original intentions for marriage? |
Bible Answer: I would definitely agree that in the circumstance given, it would be breaking the law of God. We know from scripture that when two people are married, there flesh becomes one, and what God joins, man cannot separate. So by having an affair with someone else we are thus separating the bond that God has created with us. |
