Bible Question:
In John 6:64 it says that Jesus knew which one of his disciples would betray him. The bible also mentions that Judas was not a believer and later in John 13:27 Judas gets possessed by Satan after he takes the bread. If Jesus doesn’t want anyone to go to hell, why didn’t he do something and intervene, after all Judas was one of the 12. |
Bible Answer: Greetings Joshlau7, Jesus knew beforehand that Judas was to betray Him (John 13:10-11), but Jesus also washed Judas's feet (John 13:5,12). Jesus's own answer to this question about why He did not intervene with Judas is mentioned in John 18:11, Luke 9:22, Luke 22:53, Matthew 26:54,56. Blessings to you, Makarios |
