Bible Question: I have made a vow to give a certain amount of money to GOD. Can I change where I first intended to give it because I keep having a nagging feeling to do this, to finish giving my vow in a different direction. #2) If I feel the LORD is strongly leading me to do this, and my husband allowed me to make the vow from the beginning, but he doesn't agree with changing where I give my vow, even though I feel I am led by the LORD to do so , should I go ahead and submit to what my husband says ? I want to be obedient to GOD but I also want to be under my husband's direction. I guess what I'm asking is: Do I do what I feel God is saying to me or my husband? Are there any Scriptures pertaining to this? I am really having a struggle with this and I need to find an answer in GOD'S WORD, if possible. |
Bible Answer: I wonder why God would lay that upon your heart and not your husbands also? Is your husband not listening? Or are you listening to the wrong thing? Or is God testing your patience and submittion? Either way it seems to me that submiting to your husband is always the way to go. While praying for God to reveil himself to both of you to be in agreement. |
