Subject: when will the rapture take place |
Bible Note: Hi Jeff W, Many think that the tribulation period is the wrath of God, which believers won’t endure and that’s true, but I see the tribulation period as mentioned in Matt 24: as the vengeance of the adversary which believers have been suffering for a long time only then it will reach Luke 17:26-30 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. [28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. [30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. When Scripture says every eye shall see Him, it’s going to be believers and unbelievers; we, believers, will be looking up for deliverance and the unbelievers are going to be looking for a cave to hide in because God is going to clobber them! God is going to flash out of the darkness of the clouds, that have just been instantly rolled up like a scroll, that have been covering the Earth for days. When it starts it's going to happen so fast that it's incredible. I believe that the rapture and the wrath of God will be back to back events occurring on the same day and that is what the previous verses about Noe and Lot are telling us. Noe and Lot represent believers, they and them represent unbelievers. CDBJ |
