Bible Question (short): Searching for the truth |
Question (full): Hi, John10:30. "I and the Father are one" so said Jesus. This verse would super- ficially convince one and all that Jesus and the Father are one and the same Person/Spirit/God. But in order to have a better understanding of the message that this verse intend to convey, it is necessary to refer to the context that Jesus was talking about. In the preceding verses,Jesus was narrating about how He and His Father were caring, guarding and protecting the sheep. In this context,Jesus and His Father are one--of one mind sharing the same caring and loving thought.
