Bible Question:
Gen 6:5 "Then the LORD saw that the wickness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. What is the difference between wickness and evil? e.g. Was the destruction of the World Trade Center an act of evil or an act of wickness? Jepson |
Bible Answer: Hi Jepson, I would agree with two above replys, that wickedness is the evil intent of the heart of an individual and would be a fruit of evil (along with sexual immorality, covetousness, maliciousness, etc. Rom.1:28) Inversely the fruits of the Spirit would be the fruits of rightiousness. It would seem to me that the act of 9/11 was purely evil and was carried out because of the wickedness in each perpatraitors heart. |
