Bible Question: In the Old Testament the word "seer" appears and is refered to as a spiritual office designated by God. We know for instance that Samuel was a "seer" and we know further that a "seer" must be a prophet but not all prophets were "seers". Is there Hebrew research available that describes in any detail how the "seer" physically functioned in his office. |

"Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer."
