Bible Note: Seeking The Truth "I want my Bible to be the most accurate so I can have the best instruction available." Seeking the Truth, understand each translation is just that a translation, in every translation compromises are made. If you have a NASB, KJV, NKJV, ESV you have a very exact translation but there will still be differences between them in the choice of a words. They all convey the same meaning but will read a little different. Each claim to be the most literal but nobody really wants their Bible to be completely literal because they couldn’t read it and make sense. Since your striving for perfection, you need to depend on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the only perfection we have contact with, so by depending on Him you come into perfection. Find a translation that speaks to you and read it. Most people spend more time looking for a the “right” Bible than they do reading it. EdB |
