Bible Question: Why did the NASB revision remove the word "And" that precedes this verse? It exsits in the KJV, Amplified, NIV and the previous versions of the NASB as well. I believe the underlying text supports its inclusion and it also ties the passage together much better, in a laymans opinion. |
Bible Answer: Greetings Luke7! I can't speak for the Lockman Foundation, but 'kai' at the beginning of a sentence is often not translated. It is sort of the equivalent of our 'umm'. ;-) But, it is in the Greek text. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
