Bible Question: Why did the NASB revision remove the word "And" that precedes this verse? It exsits in the KJV, Amplified, NIV and the previous versions of the NASB as well. I believe the underlying text supports its inclusion and it also ties the passage together much better, in a laymans opinion. |
Bible Answer: Yes, Luke7, we do need what verse you are talking about. "Kai" is the word for "and" in Greek. I'd look at the Interlinear Bible at http://bible.crosswalk.com/ ... both the KJV and NASB. Translators use several methods for writing, including culture, ease of reading and literal reading.
