Bible Question (short): Why no gender-neutral language in NASB?

Question (full): I love and cherish the NASB. I have always wondered, why didn't the translators use gender-neutral language in the 1995 update. Some scriptures refer both to men and women. The NAS, KJV, NIV, NIrV, RSV, dont accept this fact. The CEV, TEV (1992 update), NLT, and NRSV have.
