Bible Question: since God cannot be in the presence of sin how did satan go before God and accuse the brethern and challenge God to let him touch Job? |
Bible Answer: Dear glazedoughnut, I don't believe that the Bible tells us that God CANNOT be in the presence of sin. It does say that no MAN CAN SEE GOD (AS IN GOD THE FATHER) AND LIVE, so that our sinful flesh cannot continue after coming into the conscious presence of a full revelation of HIM. (Ex. 33:20-23)And God does not care to look at sin or be in the presence of sin. However, God is limited by nothing. So, I do not believe that it is true that God CANNOT be in the presence of sin. He went down and looked at man in his rebellion concerning the Tower of Babel (Gen. 11:5) and He (Genesis 6:6 and 6:7)repented that he had made man on the earth and decided to flood the earth and destroy almost all that He had created. He even spoke to the serpent. And even in the beginning He spoke directly to the serpent and to Satan in Genesis 3:14-15. No, God is not limited by evil. He is master of all and for this short time He allows the devil to speak to Him.(Rev. 12:10-11) I hope I have answered clearly as I am having a little trouble with my connection. I hope this is helpful. Itiswritten. |
