Subject: Seeking your help |
Bible Note: Greetings again FyrRobert - my post to you was not meant to discourage you but rather to ENCOURAGE you to seek God's will above all else. If you find that God has laid this project upon your heart, His plans will not be hindered by time tables or anything else. God equips those He calls for every good work! I would not be discouraged in any way if at this particular point in time you have not experienced what I have called "confirmation." There is much to be gained in God's "waiting room." From your posts, it appears that you are a relatively new believer in Jesus. I urge you to join a Bible believing fellowship where you can receive instruction and training. The prinicples that I shared with you in my previous post are so important to grasp, for although it is admirable to want to do good things for the Lord, Scripture is very clear that we must seek to build on the foundation of Christ first.(1 Cor 3:10) As you grow in the Lord, you will learn to recognize His voice speaking to you through His Word, in times of prayer, through circumstances and through the counsel of other Godly men and women God places in your midst. God is faithful in keeping His promises. When we seek Him (His Will) with our whole heart, He will reveal Himself to us. (1 Chron 28:9; Prov 8:17; Jer 29:13) James 5:16 tells us that much is accomplished through the vehicle of prayer. Are others praying WITH you about this desire? Begin here. Secondly, be patient. If this project to distribute Bibles in Malaysia is from the Lord, it WILL be accomplished. Just because we can't discern the details right now does not limit God's ability to accomplish HIS purposes. Don't deprive yourself of the blessing of seeing God's Hand at work by forcing open doors that the Lord wants to open for you! The book I mentioned in my previous post, "Experiencing God" was SO beneficial to me. I highly recommend it to you, however, I believe that this study is best when done in a group setting. "As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another!" Proverbs 27:17 May God continue to bless your heart and hands as you seek His face. mommapbs |
