Bible Question (short): Why not the Seventh Day as the Sabbath? |
Question (full): Why not the seventh day, For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath." Matthew 12:8, He made the Sabbath (seventh-day) in the creation week for man, not the jews for man. He made it first for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Gen.2:2-3 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. God didn't need to rest but he knew man needed to. It says in Mark 2:27 "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. If the sabbath day was changed from the seventh-day where was it changed? I would like to know? |
