Bible Note: Zerotheory: Keep in mind that God lives outside of time. He sees all things as present. To put the boundaries of time on something is for our finite understanding. Thus Jesus, God the Father, and Holy Spirit have always been. All were present at creation. The Word of God (Jesus) didn't need to become flesh until the appointed time of the Father, meaning when the Father thought the 'right time' in the world had come. This is a very difficult concept to wrap our minds around. Keep praying and God will reveal the Truth and understanding to you. Another excellent read as to the "Word becoming flesh" and why is a book called "On the Incarnation" by St. Athanasius. Published by St. Vladimir's Seminary Press, 2000. |
