Bible Question: Was Mohammed a man of violence himself? Do the Muslims view him as such? What does the Koran specifically say about violence? |
Bible Answer: Yes. Most certainly they view him as a hero. In an effort to raise money to finance his new religion he robbed caravans and slaughtered many. After being driven from Mecca and he went to Medina where he waged war on Mecca. He finally succeeded and capture the area. He was once wounded in Battle. Quran most certainly specifies violence in conversion and elimination of unbelievers. Any non believer is an infidel and infidels are of no use and are to be eliminated. Islam is a violent and harsh religion, ruled over by a harsh and unforgiving God. |
