Subject: how can catholics be saved |
Bible Note: Emmanus, Where in the scriptures that those died first can help us and pray for us? Meaning they can talk to God and help us forgive our sins, where in the scriptures that apotles taught us to pray to those died people i.e for the desciples. Are they encourage us that when they die we should ask for thier help? It is very clear that Jesus Christ said "I am the way the truth and the life and No one come into the father but by me" did Jesus stated that and you should pray to Mary and I will answer your prayers. It also stated in the scriptures that died people neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. How can they intercede our prayers if they dont know everything under the sun which is we alive people belongs at this moment? Ec 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ec 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. I would like also to add that God will judge His people through what they had done: Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. Re 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. It is stated "according to his works" and not according of how many prayers of the dead people! How could you explain that. I would like also to ask about purgatory, where in the scriptures stated that they are destination aside from Heaven and hell? and there are purgatory? Where in the scriptures that there are souls in purgatory? This is not to attack your believe my friend, I am just asking for explaination from what you believe in, if you believe on something I know you can defend it using the scriptures! God bless, Johnny |
