Bible Question:
heavens ring, How would you interpret Matt 17:1-8? Is our God the God of the living or the dead? Do the saints who have gone before worship and pray before the throne of God? See the Revelation references in conjunction with the Hebrew reference. Emmaus |
Bible Answer: Emmaus, Are you reffering Mt. 22:32? God of living? Mt 17:1-8 is about the appearance of Elias and Moses. But if you reffering to Mt. 22:32 my interpretation for this is first, it is the answers of Jesus Christ for those who dont believed the life after death. Scribes and company doesnt believed in life after death, heaven and things like that. As we all know before Jesus Christ answers that to those Sadducees they are trying to entangle Jeus in His talk if we read the whole chapter of Mt. 22 For your second question Yes! saints will worship Him: but after final judgement because no man was able to enter the temple till the seven plaques will fullfilled: Re 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. Re 11:1 ΒΆ And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. God bless, Johnny |
