Bible Question: My husband was killed six years ago. He used to put "2's" in my pager that was our sign of I love you 2 or "1's" meaning remember who really is #1 and pray. Since his death when I was at my lowest ever...I keep seeing "2's" and "1's"...it seems as though he knows. I remember when he died a friend quoted me a scripture about Heaven and it said something like "you will not know things of this world" Do you know where it is in the Bible? What are your feelings on this matter? I have had so many people tell me about things the experienced after the death of someone so close. Or is it the enemy trying to divert my thoughts away from the Lord and on James? I would really appreciate any comments. Thank you. Bobbette Cook |
Bible Answer: I had a husband that was killed. I found it more conforting to meditate on God's Word rather than the death. He left me with three children, so I learned to rely on God. His Word said "I've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread. We never went hungry and now those three childen are grown and know the Lord for themselves. Keep your thoughts on God, but remember your husband, keep him in your heart. Don't look for outside influences, just trust God. |
