AMPLIFIED 2015 | Revelation 2:20 'But I have this [charge] against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess [claiming to be inspired], and she teaches and misleads My bond-servants so that they commit [acts of sexual] immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols. [1 Kin 16:31; 2 Kin 9:22, 30] |
Subject: Is Jezebel part of the church? |
Bible Note: Not really, sorry. We have the queen in the Old Testament and a false prophetess that goes by the same name in the church at Thyatira. Both of these were human beings who had those names. Scripture says nothing more, and that's where we should close our mouths. Did the carpenter who raised Jesus have a "Joseph spirit" that Jacob's son also had? Seeing that my name is also Joseph, do I have that same spirit? --Joe! --Joe! |
